LIS6711: Taxonomy

 

This assignment for Organization of Knowledge asked us to inventory and create a taxonomy of our home or workplace. This report represents both that I have mastered the skill required here and also that I need to do some weeding.

III.b. Students identify and apply best practices in the use of different technologies for knowledge representation.

 

LIS6603: Answering Reference Questions

 

Basic Information Sources and Services taught us one of the most essential tasks of being a librarian which is not only how to find the answers to a user query but how to communicate that information. In this exercise, a favorite from this class, I learned to answer a selection of questions using a variety of technologies.
